2011 highlights of my life

Hello Everyone,

Its been a while since I actually sat and wrote something but I promise now I will start to write more often. As the warmth of Christmas is nigh, there are many things that i start to reflect back on.

One definite highlight is that the finalized divorce papers came through on Valentines Day. Which now gives me another reason to dislike “the love day”. Im happy with the choice that was made by both parties because I feel more free and able to make my own decisions without the “strong” influences of the other party. I can actually do what I want and be happy without hearing any negative feedback of what I wanted to do or feel bombarded with outside guests constantly invading, during those moments, our “special times” and or space. Being that I am divorced now, led me to new, exciting and sometimes challenging experience which I absolutely loved.

I met new friends, each with their own individuality that is simply great! I treasure that. I am now in connection with my deep rooted friends, mainly and mostly over the phone but some of my friends that are back in Las Vegas cams with me via skype or Qik. My mom is continuing to see lots of doctors and being monitored closely, but the main thing is she is active and able to move around and do things. I love my mom. She is my amazing breath of life. The rest of the family is all good, so far. ha!

My career has been nothing but life in the fast lane which is amazing to me. I am truly pleased that I was selected for what it is that I am doing. I am immensely proud of myself for taking a rpoject and making it a sustainable part of the company and creating job oppurtunities where before there was none. I am being sent on trips to meet and greet for materials/merchandise needed and I get to design them. There are so many opinions and influences but at the end of the day there is left with only one decision, and thats mine. I love it.

This very moment in time, I can say I love my life. Here is the dilemma= everything is all in pieces spread across the nation. I dont have a whole piece. Meaning, my work life is in one place, my friends and family are in another place. This is very difficult to handle but i struggle with this every morning a wake up to take on another day. With this, I do know just how much I am loved and appreciated. I love you guys right back!

I bought a horse. Yes, I did! So many of my close friend sand family was shocked and puzzled as to why i did it. First, I never owned a horse before, I love animals and out here, its something you can own without being looked at funny.

but for now, Christmas is right around the corner…

You know what!

I have to say that i have come a long way from leaving my comfort zone to face something that couldnt be prepared for. from my earlier posts, i left Las Vegas, NV with intentions to strengthen my relationship and it failed. So here i am, all by myself in a whole different atmosphere! The Vast lands of Wisconsin!

At first arrival, i could not fathom the idea of how simple living could be, because after all, i thought i was living simple in Las Vegas… I guess i had an eye awakening.

But, Whoa is not me! i made the best of it and made some great friends that i can lean on in times of needs… got to know the lay of the lands and what they do around here… which isnt much but let me tell you, what they do around here, they do big!

I have been here almost 2 years… can you imagine? because i cant… i am still wondering why am i here and when will it end… but its not in a negative way at all. trust me i began to love it here and i really do love it here.

i came here with almost nothing and started fresh: got myself a new car, excelling in my career and even picked up a few side jobs which is tres amusement! (very fun).

Guess what!! I bought a horse! im pretty excited to say that i bought a horse. Now at this point i know absolutely nothing about horses but i am very excited to learn and become an equestrian. I think buying a horse inspired me on to my next adventure… “Spice goes Country!” lol look for this soon,…

My knight turned Dark

its been a lot. So I am now comfortable sharing this out loud. What truly happened when I arrived back from my family crisis was unthinkable. A whole mess I had to deal with coming back home. The day I arrived my partners family was at the house. They have made it a habit to come up every month for 2 weeks at a time. With all that I was going through, all I wanted to do is spend some “alone” time with my partner/husband. I was so distraught and stressed out, I needed this time. I lost my aunty and almost lost my mom and when I came back home you would never guest what was to come.
I asked for alone time with him and he told me I was acting ridiculous and that everyone has heart attacks and I need to get over it. He also told me that my whole family and I are just carrying on as if my mother had died and that he never wants to hear another word about it. After he had said this he added that I owe his family an apology for wanting alone time with him. He walked out of the room and left to spend time with his family at the water park. I over heard his grandma making jokes about heart attacks and having to listen to them laughing about it.
WOW! Really?! How evil!
So I played along. I just wanted my husband so I called the family, left a message and apologized. That night my husband said that wasn’t good enough. So the next morning I woke up early and went to Mcdonald’s while everyone was sleeping and bought breakfast for everyone with a note saying I was sorry. I came home that night only to hear that wasn’t good enough. Meanwhile no one was talking to me even when I was trying to make conversation.
So after hearing that this two attempts wasn’t good enough, I had enough. I told him I wasn’t going to keep on apologizing that I was the one who is going through this and I didn’t need to be faced with this at home. Well after a week he told me that he couldn’t be with someone who didn’t love his family! Really?? Again!? After all this time I had put up with his snotty attitude about how my family was so beneath his family and that my family and I have a different culture and dialect so that makes us ignorant and how my family is sooo poor. Wow!! I put up with this only to have him say that he couldn’t be with me because I didn’t love his family?! Does anyone out there get this?
So after he tells me this, I agree. We both threw in the towel and called it quits… he gets on the phone and in less than 4 hours guess who is back? His family. I don’t know why or what for. I didn’t marry his family, I just married him. All they did was camp out in the living room and stare at me. So awkward. So he told me he was moving out and how I couldn’t afford that place if he moved out… blah blah blah… so I started looking for a place and found a great place to live. Two bedrooms… three story plus yard and garage. Loves it! So I decided I would wait for the family to leave so I can have a peaceful departure. No, they started leaving one family member behind to baby him at all times. So I had no choice. I went to the police station and let them know all what happened and showed them receipts of what I paid for and what im taking. I asked for a police escort just incase. I went to the house and began moving my stuff… the grandma was there and started raising a fit and started yelling and saying how everything is all her grandsons and I had nothing… I told her that she was falsely mistaken. I am only moving my own crap that was mine prior to him or what was mine that I purchased. She kept getting in my way and pushing me and trying to rip items out of my hands… even as the cop was telling her to stay out of my way because she doesn’t live there and it would be a civil case that her grandson needs to file but it would be pointless because I had already shown him the receipts for everything. Well she still didn’t listen… I was trying to carry an item out of the door when she shut the door on me and stood in my way while pushing me back… all I did was reach around her and open the door… and she dramatically acted as if I pushed her when everyone saw that she was totally faking the situation. She started yelling that I man-handled her and I pushed her but everyone knew because everyone seen that she was lying even the policeman told her she needs to stay out of my way.

So I ended up getting most of my items out of the house with help from a great friend and now living in my new house with my things.

Making it through the storms

Can I just say when it rains… It surely does pour. Where should I even begin? Too much emotions and so many differences of feelings and opinions to even have a right side to this story. There is truly no right or wrong to the tragedies and episodes that occurred over the last two weeks. There is only the direction of choice that each person made to react and to handle what had occurred.
I knew my dearest aunty (Rosaline) was fighting lung cancer and recently her life ended shorter than planned. Withthis tragedy her daughter had the obligation to fly her cremated remains back to Hawaii. My parents went to be a part of this funeral occasion and just short of the funeral ceremony my mother suffered a major heart attack and had to be rushed to the hospital. Phone calls from all over the family members were going like wild fire. Let me just say that we have over 800 family members so could you imagine?!
My sister and I were hesitant on reaction and was forth back and forth on making a trip to Hawaii or not. At the last minute we had decide that this would be very crucial operation and my mother would need all the support possible. During operation times is when it’s the most crucial, anything can go wrong during this time and the possibilities are drastic. So we made the decision to head oh there to be with our mother for this operation.
Getting to Hawaii was crazy! A day and a half of travel including the 10 hour overnight layover in the departure ticket agents, so it was pretty scary because no one was there until 4am, not even security.
The minute I stepped off the plain it was non stop on the go. I went straight to the hospital to check the status of my mother. She was up and barely gurgling words out of her mouth. I could immediately tell she was happy to see me, my father and my aunty was there already. I stayed there almost all day and into the night. I did leave to get some r then went to my cousins house to stay there, btw I stayed here all of my trip. I love my cousin!
So it was basically ground hogs day everyday I was there. It was crazy. My mother got over 20 visitors a day no joke! I was amazed of the impact this caused and how far this traveled. Most family that I haven’t seen for years came by just to show love to her and support. My mother suffered a massive heart attack that lead to her needing a quadruple bypass surgery and a pacemaker to keep her alive not to mention the pills she has to take every day of her life now.
I also was able to attend the funeral of m late aunty Rosaline. She will be deeply missed by all of the family and by her dear friends in Mississippi. My cousin Kimberly is her only descendant.
To see my whole family come together and the spreading of my aunty’s ashes and all of the family drama just put to he side and ended was amazing. Life is too precious for over dramatic issues, very easily said but not often managed.
All I wanted to do was To be held by my lover the whole time. I wanted to be loved so much and to feel it being held it hurts. This was a trip like none other. So much happened, stressfulness, anxiety, restlessness and fear was very much present during this trip.

Deliver us from evil! Heal the weak! Humble the strong! Blessings to all!

9th day in Baraboo, Wi

Today I woke up with determination. Thought I would take on the day however the day came to me. I sat up and got out of bed, I showered and headed into the closet. I picked out the most fabulous outfit I could find in my closet of filled colorful clothes.
I dressed myself and filled myself with confidence. Downtown to the square sounds great. I told myself I am headed to downtown. It was then that I got to my car and sat inside and knew I needed to fill it with gas. Turned th key and headed to the closest gas station. I stepped out and filled it up. I noticed everyone was smiling at me and so e were even whispering to eachother.
I got to downtown and headed offto a friend of mine’s shop. Walked in and yelled my grand good morning hello and waited for a response. Sure enough the response came and welcomed me into the shop. I sat down in my favorite seat and began to make good chit chat.
My friend asked where I was headed to so fancy dressed. I chuckled and said i was headed here and I felt fabulous today. He then chuckled also and told me… That’s right! Sparkle like glitter, darling! Sparkle like glitter.
That was a good statement.
I am going to tell everyone! Sparkle like Glitter and be heard! It’s starts with you!
